FD store-what am I buying?

I don't understand FD, on the one hand the devs speak about buying a season pass for content for an undeterminable time period.
On the other hand, when I go to the store, what I see is Horizons pre-order for 80 CAD, no mention of a "season" of updates.
So FD, what am I buying? Horizons, or a season?

It is a season. Imagine the title of the season as "Horizons" and it all sort of fits. The planet landing is a "DLC" inside Horizons. The whole thing is a season.

Yes it is very confusing and probably a bit of a PR problem for HR right now
