Having a read of the forums before bed and I've just noticed the increase in posting from the team at FD. No longer is it just Michael posting but, there's been back and forth from Mike, Sandro and some programears as you discuss fixes, upcoming balancing and give us some idea of how the game systems work.

So thanks for being active here again, as it's good to see the cries for more communication didn't fall on deaf ears. It's like early beta again!

They never really went away, other than the few weeks run up to get the game out the door (very busy), and christmas, (how dare they have off christmas) their hasnt been much time without some interaction.

TBH over the last few months I think they have learned to keep their heads down a bit...everything they said seemed to get misinterpreted, misquoted or just misread
Nice to see responses where and when they are required....

i think its as well to appreciate that all the time they are are hanging around on here, they aint working on the game...

I can't remember who, probably Michael, pointed out recently that forum posting by staff is an expensive prospect from a business perspective. I'm sure everyone would love to be paid hundreds of dollars an hour to chat but the reality is that that is not what they are paid the dollars for.

I find Frontier's interaction with the community to be one of the most balanced I've ever seen. Sure it would be nice to have every question we have answered in a heartbeat but I am satisfied that they answer what is deemed important to answer and leave things that they either aren't ready to talk about or deem not worth the "cost".
