FD.. what version of elite will be shown at E3?

I'm just curious to know what will be shown at E3, will new content be available, will it be PB or a patched version of PB??

If its new content then I think we'll probably be the last to know about it since Frontier have this annoying habit of keeping things to themselves.;) However since Kerrash is also there and he's a big Oculus rift user I think they'll be showing a patched version of PB through the rift.

Well just knowing if its something else than the PB we are playing would be nice :)

As I pointed out elsewhere, Frontier retweeted this:

Duncan Jones @ManMadeMoon said:
Who am I, who am I? "...yeah, when Im not writing the next Star Wars, Im busy playing unreleased versions of Elite on the Oculus Rift..."

Which suggests that there is a new build.

Well not only that but the recent newsletter showed screenshots of new stuff and said it would be at E3...so...

Well, seeing as they have these large posters at E3 showing off the 400 billion stars in the game, I'm expecting they have an internal beta with the entire galaxy free to roam.

My GUESS is it is the same deal as the last convention. Shown there and soon to be released to us (in this case next week after they return to the UK).
FD will probably be along "soon" to deny my projection of their trend.
;)

Not sure about that. Aren't we all playing an unreleased version of the game? And some of us on OR too. I think the fact that Bowie's son is playing Elite is reason to retweet enough.

It's not Bowie's son who's playing it... He's referring to someone else in the tweet.

We are playing the released version on Elite. :p

Nah, it's probably just for advertising. They couldn't say 5 systems, just doesn't have the same ring to it.
