When I made the decision to buy this game years ago, I didn’t know what to expect. I was just looking for a new game, and flight sims or sandbox games have been favorite characteristics in gaming for me. Eventually in 2018, I ditched my Xbox and built my own budget pc, and it still operates wonderfully for this game (Ryzen 5 2600 coupled with a Radeon RX 580). Little did I know that I would log hundred of hours, take time off work to play the game, and actually build my own “commander chair”. My iPad screen saver is the Elite logo. Yes I completely nerded out on the game. Frontier has continued to support the game I grew to love, providing continual updates, improvements, and gameplay. I can still remember that feeling of awe the first time I landed on a planet (or tried to), the first time I overcharged my FSD from a Neutron star, and that first night of figuring out how to actually land in a starport. The game is so beautiful. Being able to experience our virtual galaxy is awe inspiring. I still LOVE THIS GAME!
