FDev doesn't care about you, players. It only cares about money. Here's why

My message will be not that long, just an observation.

A lot of people here are saying "stop ranting and report the bug". Well, consider a list of bugs:

1) Anaconda bridge still messed up. Well, that was expected so nothing new here.
2) On galaxy map then you select a planet, selection info reticle with buttons jumps all way to the right, partially off-screen so some buttons can't be pressed and planet name is partially unreadable. <--- this is GAME BREAKING BUG!
3) Something messed up bad with geometry and/or clipping at Bill Tuner's base. When his base is in field of view, fps drops from normal ~70-100 down to 30. But if you turn your head away to see only planet's surface - frame rate raises back to normal. Also inside the hangar number 3 (large one) some pieces of geometry is dangling at the ceiling and moving together with elevator platform.
4) Inside hyperspace jump my avatar's body is completely invisible. Just disappears and then reappears after the jump.
5) After exiting the jump, star surface take significantly more time to render properly than before and it's twitches on process. After it's fully processed star looks normal, but this takes up to 30 seconds or more. However everything is OK with planet's surface.
6) Changing pips in fighter changes the one additional pip on main ship
7) If your fighter is destroyed and helm's crewmate fighter is destroyed you can jump in to the launcher slot crewmate was in without any cooldown on the production. Helm can launch crewmate from the slot you used previously, also without cooldown.
8) Packhounds go into negatives and just keep shooting
9) Occasionally on switching instances you take the helm's seat and his avatar just disappears.

Those bugs were ALL REPORTED FROM BETA 1. By a lot of people.

FDev doesn't care about you people. It only cares about rolling out buggy update for their precious shareholders' release plan.

And I hope this greed will kill FDev

1. Not true. Having met the developers many times in person over the years AND watched the streams they really DO care about their community
2. The two aren't mutually exclusive

Now can it please. yes, report the bugs, yes, assist them in fixing them. Sowing discord by hyperbole in the forums is not really going to help now, is it?

It's always the same crap with the updates. There is nothing new about it.

Content that is good, nothing.

You forgot to mention the broken BGS!

Hopefully some fixes will be rolled out today.

I'm a software developer and I can tell you that getting paid is a big deal to me and like all companies Frontier's primary responsibility is to it's investors. However caring about money doesn't mean I don't care about my customers. I care a lot because happy customers equals more money and a more satisfying job for me. Most successful companies operate on the "mutual gain" approach to business (except use car salesmen of course).

Anyway, yes there are quite a few bugs this release. But did you see the size of the changelog? The important thing now is how long will it take things to stabilize. Personally I will be taking a positive attitude and simply avoiding areas where I think the bugs might get in the way of my enjoyment. I suggest you do the same. It's really not that bad.

I'm not saying that FD gets it right all of the time. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't and sometimes they can't please everybody.

But the thing I can tell, without any doubt, is that - FD cares about its players.

Yeah well capitialism sucks and private companies actually ARE in it for the money. I guess you missed the memo.
Since they are in it for the money, the only power you really have is to deny them yours.
