No, it'll get lost and buried.

It won't if you add your input to that thread, it will keep it at the top, whereas this one any minute will be closed by one of the mods for being a duplicate.

I'll check out the patch and if it's the same find the thread. You're right it needs bumping

I would suggest bumping the other thread in regard to tiling and vote for the issue that's linked there.
