Honestly though, it would be a great help for VR users and I think many non-VR users would love the feature as well.
One step further, a dimmer would be excellent. I used to think the devs have never bothered because they didn't want to charge for stuff like that, turns out they are selling fairy lights for cockpit/bridge interiors.

Gotta admit I have never had an issue, do hear the occasional cmdr complaining, perhaps it is an issue for people wearing glasses?
