What an arrogant answer. I guarantee you that the huge majority of players is not reading the patch notes... FDEVs communication has been terrible from the very beginning of the project. Lot's of marketing and when things went wrong no clear statements were given but a lot of hot air made up to cover it as well.

Now that they've decided to use this silly online system they could at least utilize it and use the in-game message system or Galnet that these Systems are blocked because <some lore goes here>.

The majority of players don't read their e-mails either. So there's no winning if you don't pay attention. Unless FD is supposed to send letters.

But then people would complain that they have to submit real life information and that FD is working for the government.
