Nah, we just need a ruler. A simple metric ruler that can go on our dash. Not like I am biased against bananas though, totally... We could perhaps put a life size pet on our dash though. A banana would be cool but it is highly likely that bananas will be all gone by the time 3303 roles around if things continue how they are going. Save the banana!
Bananas are not going away, just one, highly modified, mono-cultured variety that the whole world has been eating for so long we are all addicted to it. If it goes away it will simply be replaced by one of the anywhere from 300 to 1000 other banana cultivars.
I can imagine all the Photoshop-ed pics that would be posted with "Ruler for Scale".
Life-sized pets, hmmm. How about a carnivorous spider a meter across, trained and fiercely loyal like a dog . . . Toss it someone's hand and say "Look, I'm hand-feeding her, ha ha . . ." o7

But I can just imagine the images and jokes about such a bobble-head.
I just want a realistically sized and colored banana simply mounted on the spring at the middle and pointed up at both ends like a smile or a horse-shoe nailed above a door. And fuzzy dice. And a lucky horse-shoe mounted at the top of the canopy, at center. o7
