It’s what gets me out of bed on a morning.
It all went downhill when FD stopped sending hand delivered telegrams. Why they feel the need to use 21st century forms of communication in the 21st century is beyond me

What is more annoying is they post some "puzzles" that you have to have a PhD to decipher them and rely on third party tools maybe (see the thargoid link).
I'm not outraged. Just stating an opinion.
Why have a company/product forum if you're going to use an unrelated site to post news/information/etc. on that product?
Twitter is but a junk website like billions of others that I don't visit for the same reason.

The Guardian structures and Thargoid device are not particularly challenging, just drive around and bring something of a particular shape to them. But would you have decoded the thargoid link puzzle by just listening to it? Did you cracked these new images already? Sure, it's easier to make fun of people instead...

Theres different puzzles for different people, I can do most of them and I aint brainy, or I can use the brains of others to help or completely solve them. All you need for this one is a chart. Ive been given 3 on the thread about it, or I can wait and just follow the fun, or do something else.
And I can bet you found out about them from Canonn website or some Youtube video because I haven't seen any in-game tools to lead you to them. Even in the Codex they appear only after you discovered them. Same with the Generation ships.
I found the LPs and UCBs by...finding them. First ones in Sol which I thought were bugged then ones in Pleiades.
Some needed Cannon as the associated keyword or local news was missing or to explain what it was when I had deciphered it.
Some needed Cannon from start to finish, I just followed,
But at some point, somebody did solve them all with very few hints. They are solvable. Its not a single player game where ever player gets to solve the code and launch the nuke or whatever. The idea is that we work as a community to spread the info and piece together the puzzle. If I can keep up with it Im happy, If I cant I ask for advice or help and see if I can keep up with it, if not I ask someone to explain or record it afterwards.
