[FDEV] When is a system at war not a system at war?

The other thing I don't understand about Summerland is it has 2 parties with the same name. There are 2 Patron's Principles shown all the time.

Well it appears the warzones in Summerland are also broken.

So as you can see from the system, it should be at war:

...

Yet when I turn up in the conflict zones, all that appear are System Defense Forces

...

And there is no faction selection

...

I think for now I might just go back to grindy trading, all this part of the game seems broken

The last civil war conflict zone I was in, both sides ships were System Defense Forces, but you could pick a faction, at which point half became red and the other half green.

I opened a ticket about this issue this morning - war zone missions being offered in Loperada but no conflict zones.

I have seen a few other systems with conflict zones but I don't remember which. I think I will try to start a list of them though.

Good luck. Not to be a smart alec but, I believe the entire "background simulation" is broke and has been since the "release". Could be why "community events" are hastily being interjected as manually controlled "events" may be the only thing that could be called "working"? IDK but, I do give you kudos for trying to bring another background simulation failing to FD's attention.

Every time I have looked, it has been possible. Failings are an anomaly. Obviously missions for a conflict that isn't there, is a bug in a working simulation.
