FDev - When will the face spawning NPC's be fixed?

Just had another NPC spawn directly (and I mean directly, all I saw was his drives) in front of me while trying to avoid a scan from a Security Viper. Barely managed to boost away in time as I was basically at a stand-still after hitting the spawned pirate.

Is there any fix planned for this prior to 2.1? If not this means that any "fail on scan" missions essentially have a random chance of failing without any means to prevent it - and it will have been like this for almost 6 months. Not a very impressive state of affairs for a game that's reached version 2.0.
 
Hopefully with 2.1, but there's no official announcement as far as I know. 2.1 beta is due in may IIRC, so I wouldn't hold my breath though.
 
It's been a week or so since I've done any smuggling missions, but the face spawning is happening pretty much every single time I drop out of Super Cruise today. Have hit three ships so far, one full on face plant, two glancing blows.
 
A little bump for a dev response. Finished my deliveries in the end, around 10 missions, had ships spawn in front of me at every interdiction, and most stations. 6 resulted in unavoidable collisions, 2 full on face plants which brought me to a standstill. Surely this cannot be that hard to fix? The ship that interdicts you always spawns behind you, make the ships that drop in afterwards follow the same rule, or at least increase their distance from you!
