Just had another NPC spawn directly (and I mean directly, all I saw was his drives) in front of me while trying to avoid a scan from a Security Viper. Barely managed to boost away in time as I was basically at a stand-still after hitting the spawned pirate.
Is there any fix planned for this prior to 2.1? If not this means that any "fail on scan" missions essentially have a random chance of failing without any means to prevent it - and it will have been like this for almost 6 months. Not a very impressive state of affairs for a game that's reached version 2.0.
