FDEVs: Having refinery and limpets issues

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem but the refinery gets stuck, fills up then I crashed.
When I reloaded everything in my refinery was gone.

Also, limpets are not launching...they're getting stuck won't launch and then I lose connection.

Had a similar issue where my refinery will be full, i request to abandon a few limpets to make room in the cargo hold and nothing happens.
It reports im missing the abandon limpets but they do not show physically coming out of the ship.
Try to launch a prospector limpet and nothing happens but one is used up.
I did not experience any crash or connection loss. did reset the client and everything worked for awhile until the issue returned.
Sort of stopped play for awhile and moved to another game.
Saw the issue on 4/30 when the snap shop was to take place.

I haven't heard of this issue. I had a minor issue with prospectors dying mysteriously mining in my T10. I switched to a different ship for mining and the problem went away.

Oh god this is happening again?

I've had the stuck limpets before when I synthesise them towards the end of my mining session. You can't relog because the pirates come. I solved it a couple of times by abandoning a limpet, but other times that didn't work. I never lost connection because of it. It was just a nuisance that caused me to have to go back earlier than I wanted.

For the past 14 days I am experiencing the same issue: Prosepector Limpets fire app. 20 seconds after button press, refinery is not processing full hopper even though there ist plenty of cargo space. Collector limpets are released also half a minute after action. Same goes for accessing carrier functines like accessing outfitting or advanced maintenance. Happens almost instantly after a minute of game time.

I have around 1500h of game time and did not make any changes to the system. Everything else runs smoothly.
Tried complete clean reinstall, port forwarding, router update, driver etc.
I even used mobile connection for network access and tried a different pc-network card.
I am running out of ideas and up until now got no response from Friontier.

How did you guys solve it? Or does this problem still exist?

Thanks in advance ... a desperate CMDR

I think this issue corrected itself, but i do recall moving on to a different game loop for awhile.
Might try switching ships, to see if that corrects the problem.
In my case a restart of the client was only a temp fix.
By changing ships and doing something else seems to agree with what @Krash suggested.

I had a stuck refinery two nights back. I had several full (100%, ready to become cargo) slots in the refinery and the rest had some other kinds of ore from a previous run. Cargo bay and refinery full alerts showing.

I abandoned 4 limpets from cargo. Still reading as cargo bay full and the 100% stacks weren't converting to cargo. Cargo amount showed I had 4 tons empty.

I abandoned another group of 4 limpets, vented the hopper, ejected a couple low-value slots in the refinery, rebooted the refinery, and it eventually resolved itself after a few minutes.

Felt like a slow database transaction from the server, unless jammed refineries are an in-game thing?

I suspect it might be your network perhaps? I used to have issues with limpets not launching etc. when I had a bad 4G network connection. Since updating to fibre I don't think it's been an issue at all.

I don't think it is a network. If everything else but ED works fine it is not a network. Those problems are related to overloaded servers after Epic give-away. There is plenty of threads in this very forum, additional in Steam Forums and Reddit... FDev just does not have capacity to handle amount of players hence colourful ship errors and issues with mining... I have issues with other things as well. While my Internet connection is perfectly OK for anything else (file transfers, remote management of things, VPN tunnels, conference calls etc.) ED is failing to the extent that I am taking break and not playing currently as I have no time to correct ED errors and t-shoot problems that are not my network... Those problem did not exist pre give-away...

Thanks for the feedback. It feels like a network issue with the frontier servers since I have no issues whatsoever with any other game, application or stream. Looks like it is in the hands of frontier. Sad, but I think I will have to put down the (best) game (ever) for a while.

So, I think the stuff is sorted: When I looked at the network options, I never had the opportunity to switch to IPv6 (it was greyed out, could not make any changes there). So the game was running fine since two weeks ago with IPv4. Now, since I kind of forced IPv6 via the settings in the "AppConfiglocal.xml" file (IPv6 to "1" and IPv4 to "0") everything is working fine again ... no delays whatsoever. So I think the delay occured because of this v6 v4 thing and it took always around 30seconds until some sort of connection-try-thingy got through. So I think maybe Frontier made some changes with the Epic-Store that triggered it or it was just coincedence. Anyway thank you for your help and back to backward flight core-mining ...
