feature or more unfixxed bugs?

so… while doing massacre missions... I find npc's that:

-Clog (just vanish... no wake)
-Wake out without Mass Lock (Vipers Wake out 500m from my T-10)
-jump without charging FSD
-and have ZERO cooldown after losing an interdiction

-and if I kill a mission target that's not in the mission system... it doesn't count

I have all these on Video, but I'm not "fishing for views"... I'm just curious, is this supposed to happen? I understand the more Human behavior of NPCs, but is it Immersion Breaking when they don't follow the games rules of Physics?

EDIT*

-NPCs manage to fire, wake out, and Boost with a Zero'd Power Plant (even seen one jump with Zero'd Thrusters & Zero'd Power Plant)
-BUG reports have been reported (just no reply, so I ask here to see if in fact it is a BUG)

Assassination missions usually work for me, if they jump out i can usually find them in supercruise, but i agree they dont seem to follow the usual mass lock rules.

Massacre missions and spec ops missions otoh usually fail about 50% of the time because the missions targets either dont spawn or if you get a mission specific signal source, dont spawn with "mission target" tags. If the target system has a haz rez you can usually find the targets there, if it doesnt your screwed.

I have been playing for about 2 years and, while assassination missions have gotten somewhat better, they arent great and i dont expect massacre missions will ever be fixed after all this time.

Make a bug report, hold your breath :)

Not to mention with the new 'run away' tactics the ones that do spawn in the massacre target spot, well, run away, before ever being engaged.

I actually just gave up over Christmas. Took a list of massacre missions, found the USS, entered, 4 spawned, 2 ran away. And I'm supposed to kill 66?

Yeh right.. Not playing that kind of nonsense.

FDev need to understand this is a game and NPCs are fodder :D

Well you know its been two years, they arent going to fix this, they obviously dont care, i have made bug reports about this issue in the past and im just resigned to the games current condition.

Im not buying anymore bugs though and i sure the next dlc will move along even more smoothly without me given the seeming scarcity of Frontier server bandwidth.

In real space? Never seen that. In supercruise that's normal and part of how your scanner works.

-Wake out without Mass Lock (Vipers Wake out 500m from my T-10)

NPCs always high wake, so like players they are unaffected by mass disruption.

-jump without charging FSD
-and have ZERO cooldown after losing an interdiction

Obviously bugs, not sure why you even ask instead of reporting them.

Because complaining on the forum gets faster, better and more substantive response than making a bug report.

How would you know the difference, considering you have never submitted a bug report...

I believe in my time playing i have submitted two at least. But a new (to me) bug that i encountered last night, not being able to interact with a server bank, already has at least one long multi post thread in the bug reports forum as well as several reddit threads.
So they obviously know this is an issue and if they did any quality control at all they would have discovered it themselves, rather than make bug reports, i would rather do something more constructive, like fart into the wind.

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/415452-Tip-Off-Site-won-t-let-me-scan-the-server

or for more on the same bug:
https://www.google.com/search?q=eli...69i61j69i65.4027j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Me adding my little drop of rain to the deluge by making another report about a known long standing issue that frontier has refused to fix will not make one bit of difference.

So like i said, you get better, more substantive response to a bug complaining about it on the forums than submitting bug reports.
At least you responded :)
