[Feature Req.] Brewer Corporation: Class Action Suit re: Fleet Carrier Performance

The Fleet Carriers are not (and have not been for some time) performing as advertised by the Brewer Corporation. FC Nav panels are now offering up "No Time Slot" errors in addition to the interminable wait times.

I'd like a place in-game and possibly a CG to allow myself and other like-minded Commanders to file a Class Action suit against Brewer Corp. in order to force them to fix the navigation delays or provide significant refunds to Carrier owners to offset substantial and re-occuring losses in time and credits caused by Fleet Carrier travel delays. This doesn't even address the repeated massive loss in life caused by the delay in Fleet Carriers responding to Thargoid attacks; Individual system factions and/or Superpowers may want to open a separate inquiry into that arena.

Back when the first Galnet article popped up about the Titan drive component and what it could be used for, I was certain FD were going to increase FC jump range to somewhat offset the new normal jump times. More distance = less jumps = less strain on the servers.

Jump times were initially meant to be much longer. We complained and they shortened it.

If jump times being variable is the cost for them not being a standard time of one hour, I'll take that.

You are assuming that most carriers are being jumped 500Ly a time, I suspect many of them are freighting stuff around the bubble and are probably doing much less than the current maximum so the strain wouldn’t be reduced that much.

Sometimes it seems CMDRs have completely replaced their ships with their carriers, using them for a few light years back and forth instead of traveling large distances with them.

Well not completely at least not until Apex will visit carriers and freight shuttles are introduced, but pretty close to it.
