Feature request: "GoTo" button above Destination in NAV panel

Often I go wandering and lock onto something else in a system, It's tedious to have to scroll down in the NAV-PANEL's waypoints to locate the final destination and "LocK" it in order to continue with the Flight Plan, especially if its a multi leg/waypoint journey. If there was a selectable "GoTo" just above the Destination, (left side in Nav panel), then it would be easy and quick to instruct the NAV computer "Go from present position To Destination", and the multi leg journey is resumed with minimal fuss.

This is how navigation is done in reality on aircraft, if a pilot deviates from course/flight plan due to weather the FMS (Flight Management System) will illuminate the enter button, after avoiding weather the pilot then selects GoTo and line selects on the FMS "xyz waypoint" and hits enter (simple to resume course after a deviation), unfortunately pilots must make position reports at specified waypoints hence they cant just say GoTo Destination.

Please Paint the landing pad numbers on the Landing Pad, This will make finding the assigned Landing Pad easier and quicker from any angle, especially vertically. The one dimensional holographic display is only discernible during horizontal approaches, and the numbers don't reverse when approaching from the wrong side. The inability to locate the assigned Landing Pad at a distance from any approach path is really frustrating and ANNOYING.

The inconsistency of the landing Pad's position within Stations is also puzzling, sometimes 16 is near the entrance and sometimes it's "over there", or is it intentional to have a illogical variable Pad positioning system to mess with pilots ?.
At a minimum please add a little down arrow or up arrow next to the HUD Pad number to indicate if the pad is at the entrance or "deeper in". when docking in a Station.

If you have plotted your course using the galmap (including the final station, base or planet) you can use the 'next waypoint' key. I have it mapped to 'N'. That way if you target a USS or something else of interest you can resume your course by pressing next. If you are interdicted your next waypoint is targeted automatically if you use this method.

Landing pads as a module were fairly clearly designed for use inside the large stations, there are many sub-optimal aspects to their use on outposts, and to a lesser extent planetary bases. In addition to your comment there is also the matter of needless pad rotation for example.

The pad numbering system does have a logic, it is something you get used to

I think you miss my point, I don't want to GoTo/Lock the next star as my destination because I will then manually have to lock the next star of a multi-leg flight plan, I want to resume my multi star jumping as per flight plan by telling the NAV computer to "GoTo" - Destination, this way I don't have to manually lock the next star of the route, and every star thereafter which is part of the multi-leg Flight Plan.

I want to be able to say to the NAV computer, "from present position GoTO Destination and automatically resume multi-leg waypoints to destination, this with one button press "GoTo"

I think you miss my point, I don't want to GoTo/Lock the next star as my destination because I will then manually have to lock the next star of a multi-leg flight plan, I want to resume my multi star jumping as per flight plan by telling the NAV computer to "GoTo" - Destination, this way I don't have to manually lock the next star of the route, and every star thereafter which is part of the multi-leg Flight Plan.

I bound "Next Waypoint" to B + LB on my controller, works a treat.
