Feature Requests Update #11- Systems Malfunction, Brace For Impact!

[/INDENT]Several people also asked about head tracking tech such as Track IR and its various competitors. Unfortunately this isn’t a technology that we’re too familiar with within the office so it isn’t something you can expect to see close to release. That said, the team are interested in investigating it all the same:
Sandy: Not offhand familiar with the system – can discuss
Michael: We will investigate.

I feel i have to say that i'm completely surprised that you are nor familiar with Track IR. With all due respect guys, go outside and see a little more what is out there!. Track IR has been available for about 10 years. And its implementation its a basic feature today on any simulation, either flight, driving or FPS. People always understimate tack IR until they use it, i was one of them, and once you get use to track ir, you refuse to play any simulation without it.
If you really want to compete with this game, track IR is mandatory.

Apollogies if i sound harsh!.
Best wishes!

Mh guys... suggest you get yourself a TrackIR set as soon as possible - they are not expensive, and do real wonders for immersion. Looking around the cockpit with a mouse is a killer for me.

Please have a look!

API support

Yes, I'd also much rather see a decent API (even if I had to wait past inital release) than have Frontier spend their precious time developing a companion app. An open API would engage the community even further and let those of us who cannot produce fan fiction contribute with fan apps.

give us a decent selection of JSON feeds from the game server and the community will take care of the rest - he said posting via a web based app that reads/displays the forums RSS feeds ;)
