So, who are the Lave Radio Network?
Originally, Lave Radio Network was set up in-game as a joke by two of our show's hosts (Chris Forrester and Chris Jarvis) as a celebration for our 100th episode. At that time, we saw ourselves in game as a bunch of sweaty dock workers and engineers flying a stolen Orange Sidewinder and hosting a pirate broadcast. Since then, the in-game presence has been taken over by the community, who have worked tirelessly and against a very organised resistance to raise the faction from < 2% to owning all of the assets in the system!
We at Lave Radio would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has worked so hard our behalf. It is truly humbling.
Where are Lave Radio Network based and does your Squadron have a motto?
We’re based in the Lave system and our motto is “All Adventures Began Here”, though we only recently adopted this!
What is the aim of your Squadron?
Our primary aim is to maintain control of Lave Station in order to help promote the Lave Radio podcast. Our podcast talks about the universe of Elite Dangerous and the fantastic community that surrounds it!
Roughly how many Commanders are in your Squadron?
It depends who you ask and how you ask it! Before we had Squadrons in the game, I'd say that we had 10 actual 'full time' commanders in LRN. However, Lave Radio has always been about the player community and we love working with that community both in game and out.
Where are your Commanders based, and what do your active hours tend to be?
We’re largely based in Europe, however we have Commanders all over the world. We tend to be active during the evening in the EU!
