Every month we put four amazing Planet Coaster creators in the spotlight; each Featured Creator will have one week dedicated to them, their amazing Workshop, and other wonderful contributions to our community. This month we are talking to Doofer911, GalcianBTH, Flaero, and Zak(man) who can also be found on the Planet Coaster globe!

Let’s welcome:
Flaero!

Welcome to Flaero’s Coaster Creations! Tell us how you got started with Planet Coaster.
I first saw the game when Silvarret posted his Grizzly Valley video. I immediately fell in love and bought the game. I’m a big theme park enthusiast so I’ve played many other games before Planet Coaster.

What makes you (and your creations) stand out?
I like to create a lot of different things but they usually all end up looking quite similar. The main part of my creations is the coaster, so the actual theming and building of the track will take up most of my time. I challenge myself by aiming for realism as best as I can.

What is your
favourite feature in the game?
As much as I love the coasters, I think I love the entire game most rather than just one feature!

What is your favourite creation/video you’ve ever created (so far)?
Right now with kicking off my Featured Creator week, I’m about to release Red Baron 1867 – which is going to be great. I’m also working on a collaborative park with Coastershot and Coastermagnitude which will be better than anything I’ve ever created before. Hopefully version 1 will come out this week!

How do you feel about being part of the Planet Coaster community?
I love this community; people are so nice, we all learn from each other, inspire each other, and so forth. I honestly have nothing negative to say about anyone here!

Tell us a little about yourself, what you study/work/do in real life.

I’m 15 years old, love to play inline hockey (like ice hockey but on roller blades) and I study economics and mathematics.

If you were to dress up as a Planet Coaster mascot, which one would it be?
King Ghoster is my new favourite because he looks amazing; he’s so happy even though he’s a little ghost.

What inspires you?

Most of my inspiration comes from real theme parks. Sometimes I’ll look for new themes on the internet and get inspired by different creators.

Tell us a little about your creative process – how long do your creations take, do you listen to music or work for hours and hours until something is perfect?

90% of the time will be spent talking to Coastershot, who gives me incredible feedback. How long it takes will depend on what I’m building; coasters will take 30-40 hours but a park will be anywhere near 120 hours... which is only 20% finished!

Pass on the praise: which creator do YOU admire?
My main praise will go to Silvarret for getting me into the game. N7 and Maskedbandit102 are awesome because they always find ways to surprise me with their blueprints. I love their series Planet BroCoaster, because they’re great guys and I always look forward to the next episode.

Hi Flaero, Really great interview. It's always nice to get to know people better and get to know what they create. Like your workshop items :)
