Hello Park Managers!

We hope you're all doing well! Can you believe how fast February flew by? We're here with February's Roundup, to help keep you up to date with the latest news and to showcase some awesome community content!

News:

To get this Roundup going, we'd like to highlight Update 1.12.4 which we released earlier this month. Please ensure your game is up to date, as this Update includes fixes for a variety of minor but pesky issues, such as fixing inconsistent forest coverage for Redwood scenery trees, and removing the greenhouse count restriction on Nublar and Sorna Jurassic Park sandbox levels. For all the update notes, visit our forum page here!

Throughout this month, we've held our Ranger Danger competition, where we've asked you to send us 'your most tense, hair-raising scenes of vehicular peril captured in Jurassic World Evolution. We want to see screenshots of your Rangers facing danger like never before!' There's still time to enter! This competition ends at 11PM UTC on Sunday, 1 March 2020, so get your screenshots sent over to us as soon as possible, and you'll be in for a chance to win Jurassic World Evolution: Return to Jurassic Park on a platform of your choice! Read all about our Ranger Danger competition here on our forums.

In March, we are also looking forward to welcoming back our Jurassic World Evolution livestreams! It's been a while since we streamed on the YouTube channel, but we hope you will all join us for our return! We will be posting the streaming schedule within the next couple of days, but for those who'd like to know what to expect we will be returning with community focused streams - we will be joined by a Jurassic World Evolution developer and we'll take a look at community creations, videos and either do some challenges or enjoy a Let's Play! You'll see who we will be joined by and what date the stream will be if you check back to the forums for the streaming schedules early next week!

Speaking of livestreams, we'd like to give our Jurassic World Evolution community a big thank you for helping us raise an incredible £26K for Gameblast and SpecialEffect! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces in our chat during our 24 hour livestream, and we really appreciate all the support and generosity from the community.

Looking forward to seeing the winner of the competition next round up. Any chance of seeing some runner ups?

So this update is the why reason redwood trees no longer serve as barrier? Dinos can now walk through layers of trees. Was a cool bug that allowed separation of dinos without having to use fences.

I'd imagine they're not too much a fan of unbreakable fences being available in challenge mode and such. Though I'd think the JP era lights as fences probably still works.
