Fed Assault Ship + Pulse Disruptor PvP Testing

Interesting, good flight and combat skills, but one question, how did you know where they jumped to at 6:26? No wake scanner, you were just going through the list of nearby systems and stopped at the one they went to for no obvious reason I can see, so how did you know that's where they went?

So that's why you didn't respond all the time on TeamSpeak. :D Been concentrated and busy slaughtering imps, eh? :)

Good control of fixed weapons there. What's your control setup like?

Cheers, I use a X52pro.

Ahh, the trick is to see which system lines up with the Nav Compass. As I was facing the wake, I know my target jumped to a system infront of me, I just need to find out which system. The Nav compass helps you figure that out - advanced PvP hunting trick ;-)

Cmon Kristov, you can figure this one out easy :)
He's facing the direction the guy waked out, he checks the direction of each jump until he finds one that lines up with the same direction as the guy who jumped out.

Hahah, actually I was on TS with you when this kicked off. But yeah, sometimes I just do my 'Interstellar thang', and when I am doing that I don't want to be on TS ;-)

Don't worry, I'll be on a bit more now as I still need more practise ;-)

Great fighting, CMDR! While you were fighting the wing of three you seemed a bit panicked and your performance may have been slightly decreased as a result.

Does not always work due to instancing p2p stuff but it can work though. This IMHO is the reason that ships like the FDL and Corvette have crippled jump ranges is to allow inferior ships to escape from stuff like this.

Thank you, that literally never occurred to me, I didn't realize the wake actually pointed in the direction of travel, that is a literal game changer for me.

Yeah, NOW it makes perfect sense, as I said though, I didn't realize the wake pointed in the direction of travel, since I know that where you come out from hyperspace isn't related to the direction you jumped from, never occurred to me.

The little tips and tricks that I'm STILL learning after 6 months...love this game!

You can even line up the sky box with the galactic map too.

That I'm aware of, since the skybox is literally based on your location every time you make a jump, but some people might not be aware of that fact, so good on you for pointing it out.
