Fed Navy Rank missions are still not working!

I did two last night. Both promising Lieutenant Rank if completed.

Did the first one - no rank increase.

Did a second one about an hour later - no rank increase.

Do the ranking systems even still apply now PwarPLay is out? :S

I did a Federation mission and got promoted in the Empire. lol.

Yea it worked for me once last night but now I do tend to be left with an ''Empty'' bulletin board today. The mission branching is being worked on now and I expect that to be in this next patch today chap. Not tried the Empire rep but maybe some nice Federation missions can up me to a serf or master maybe.......

Is it worth even trying at this point? The past two days I have been grinding out Fed faction missions at SOL, must have completed well over 30 so far and still "friendly" and no sign of any kind of Fed rank mission even to recruit. Should I be moving on to another station? Has anybody ever gotten even a first level rank mission from sticking around the same station they have been running missions at?

Yes ''Tetra''...I did last night go to LT.Commander and was expecting to go to Post Commander but that was a little too much to ask I think, the game let me do the usual 30 or 40 missions last night and this morning and then went a little sparse with missions until the bulletin board just had nothing left, even when I left the station for a trade run to a nearby system and back it was still blank, maybe that was just a part of the work that is being done to the server DB now chap.
Hope it works out well, there was going to be some bugs after 1,3 but I have had 3 or 4 major ones just since 1.31, lock-ups, not terminating at the station, the adjudication server not recognizing me the first time the game loads and not being able to take the missions from the board if you have cargo in your hull.

Try going to Exbeur and check out the bulletin board there my friend, after this patch there may be a surprise there for you, try some donation missions and play the lucky-dip.....it's like a large mission fruit machine to play there chap....have fun.....happy hunting ''Hoppindeth''.

I am in the same boat. Did a rank mission for the feds to take me to Post Captain and when i handed it in no rank increase Hope they fix this as quick as they did mission payouts! Anyone manage to successfully rank up today?

Of course, you don't have lower and upper half Rear Admirals.

There is a level cap with each small faction. Once you have reached the next promotion you need to go to another system and do missions for another small faction within the Federation. Think of it as getting around to get your name out.

It's horrible, and it feels like this generates the most threads right now, just check the bug report section. I found that of all mission types only one currently actually gives rank. On the empire side it's information delivery, on the fed side it is cargo delivery. However it is weekend, and next week is E3. FD can do nothing right now. They could have postponed the 1.3 release, the storm would have been a lot less than with this unfinished buggy mess.

Well im guessing its the next one from Post Commander as i only recently learned they added more ranks. If another try pops up i will give it a go but im not holding much hope at the moment judging what others are saying

Because I have been ''Allied'' with all the minor factions here for the last 3 ranks and I have ranked up 4 times at this ''Same'' station now. I have gone from Ensign to Post Captain and am near Rear Admiral now on Sunday, hoping to attain it soon. I went allied with all the minor factions here by the time I had got to the rank of LT, just after Ensign and my last 3 ranks were all at ''allied'' with my local minors.

Don't mix the mission types up. That is cargo fetching, the one working is classical delivery: Get the cargo into your hold when you accept, deliver it where they want it. The fetch cargo mission is as broken mostly everything else.

The level cap is set to 100 percent, you can see it on right side panel first tab. Allied doesn't matter as much as percent of level with minor factions. If you reach 100 percent then it's best to move on.

I have run into a wall right now as well. I've been LT Commander for a while now and my Post Commander mission just got me nothing at all after finishing. And my minor faction level was at 84 percent. Still broken
