I have the rank of warrant officer but I can't buy a Fed Dropship because it doesn't recognise that I have passed ensign rank. I think the system thinks I have no ranks at all as I've been offered a Fed rank promotion mission to become an ensign. Has any one else got this bug?

I'm not getting any rank missions at all.
Warrant office is the rank below Ensign. Unless I'm not understanding your problem. Fed dropship required Ensign.
Oh I thought ensign was the first rank. Usually ensign means junior or something.

Yeah ranks are working currently but are still bugged in the respect you will have to complete X amount of promised rank missions before it will actually finally spit out the rank it keeps saying you will get. Managed to get from Serf to Lord today on Empire ranks.
