Horizons Federal Dropship MKII

Got a message fom the local bad guys that due to my recent actions they had put a bounty on my head, scary stuff as they have an endless supply of ships.

Then another message from which read as though it was from a friend(NPC) and to get them off my back was going to send some details about destroying a communications array.

This was whilst doing some BH and in the middle of the furball this White(mostly), looked to be slightly larger version of one of the Federal ships appears and starts attacking me, at this point i'm thinking what on earth/space is going on here, so I check that it is wanted, it is, returned fire, destroyed it and got a 400cr bounty.

Went to look and review the messages and there gone. Had a look through the journal and saw it was a Federal Dropship MKII not come across this one before.

Any one else experienced anything like this ?

In game the mk ii probably is called the gunship, or the assault ship.
They both are derived from the dropship.

I think it is the Assault ship.
I seem to remember it was first announced as the MK II and was then renamed.

Could well be they are tricky to tell apart especially when it's trying to wipe you out.

In the game's files the Federal Assault Ship is refereed to as the Federal Dropship Mk.II, as that was what it was originally going to be called.
