Federal Rank Progression Question

When doing the Fed rank progression missions do you need to do all that show up even if you have done one of the same type already?

An example would be if you have already delivered non-lethal weapons and you see another mission hours, days or weeks later for non- lethal weapons (the quantity may or may not be different) do you have to to this mission also so you can progress to the next rank?

For future reference will the answer also apply to Empire rank progression missions?

Basically, yes. Though sometimes you might find rank-up mission appear at the same time as you've already accepted - but are yet to complete - another. In this instance, you won't get ranked up twice for accepting a second concurrent mission. Best to just ignore them.

You just need to complete 1 at a time. You can take as many as you like, but you'll only move up one rank. This applies to both Federation and Empire ranking missions.
