Federal ship discount location

Hi all.
I'm finally rear admiral. Am wondering are there any stations that have all Federal ships on discount? And good parts on discount? I'm hoping for a one stop shop. But don't mind going to other places to kit out the ship.

I don't have any permits. No idea how.

Thanks. I have it bookmarked on my iPhone 6s +. Honestly though I was hoping someone would just tell me. I'm lazy and didn't want to go there. However I will go there to try. I'm just being honest.

Plus it saves time too if someone knows of a station that had them all on discount. Or maybe nothing has them all. Its all good.

Ohm city only has the fas according to that database site.

I asked the same question a couple of dasys ago and someone mentioned: LHS 20. You need to go to Ohm City AND Shenich, Wafer Terminal. IIRC it has Corvette at 15% discount

Right now I'm wanting to get the best non corvette federal ship on discount. I don't know if that's federal drop or gun or assault.

Really? I made Petty Officer a day ago, and I got the Sol permit at least. Double check the tab, as it doesn't highlight or particularly shout about giving you permits... I think I noticed it by accident, just as I was considering posting a 'where's my permit!' thread.

And yeah, the aforementioned Ohm City in LHS 20 has become a bit of a second home for me at the moment, simply because it's offering a lot of decent ships across the range, discounted, including most or all of the Federal ships.

I don't know how to get permits. Or are they added when you get rank?

I bought the FAS and got some parts. Tried in res site. Shields royally bite. But it moves great. Don't like weapon placement on top and bottom but I guess it's ok. I like the ship though.

Yeah, though at Petty Officer you apparently get Beta Hydri as well as Sol, but I only got the latter. Perhaps taking jobs in the vicinity of the former might add that permit via a bulletin board task, but I'm busy trading towards the edge of the bubble so I'm not fussed (I plan to enter Sol when Horizons releases).

Two things to try, though, just to check. Press X+dpad right, then press dpad left - you'll be at the Permits tab. Region Permits are at the top, then System Permits. Does it really still say No Permits for systems?

Or, just go into the galaxy map, and type Sol into the Enter System Name search box (or some of the other ranked tied permits). Hit return, and it'll zip straight to Sol. If it still says 'Requires Sol system permit', then yeah, something's off.

It shows a bunch of names for permits in the tab. But I read somewhere you have to earn them by doing a mission not just rank.

I was nowhere near Sol when my rank ticked over, and when I got the permit, so for me I can only discern that Sol is perhaps a static/rank unlock, whereas I might need to take a BB/bulletin board job near Beta Hydri to access that system.
