Federation Military Staging area?

Anyone been by the Ibootis contact binary lately?

Federation is on the warpath that's for sure and scrambling comms too!

Eranin's fate as a free state hangs in the balance.
The Forlorn hope gathers, the Farragut has fallen.
Vultures gather, and glory a hollow reward for those now entombed in the cold and twisted wreaks far from home.
There are those that fight for freedom, those that fight out of bond to their fellow man, and those who just fight for the (combat) bond itself.
Will you pick a side?

So is Eranin going to be a smallish multi system political power? Don't they technically control both Eranin and Dahan? It'll be interesting to see how it pans out but honestly though unless the Federation exercises political restraint doesn't look good for them..

I wonder if this fleet activity is a result of event injection from FD...

Either way AWESOME STUFF!!!

Death to the Federation and the Empire! Fight the oppressors and reclaim your freedom from tyranny!

Just saying ... ;):D

Yeah, I saw that staging area a few weeks ago... are they still at it? Psh, amateurs!

I was a little surprised that they didn't consider me flying sightseeing loop-de-loops around their ships as trespassing. I could've been a spy or anything!

They were a little bit too much for me and my under-equipped Sidewinder to take on at the time so I left them to it.

^that's my question as well, without access to an in system map these things are hard to find unless you already know where they are.

iBootis B and C are the stars you're looking for. Just hop into one of the USS near there and you'll find the rally point. I made a video of it a while back...

Could be fun to drop in there with a few friends...

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if in future updates and/or the final game we will be able to organize and drop in to spoil their fun and tip the balance somewhat. The training missions seem to indicate that if you read the briefings.

Question is.. is FD going to make it into a traditional scripted mission that you accept at the bulletin board or will they leave this sort of thing on its own for us to organize a counter effort and let players decide the fate of the systems at stake?

Personally I'd like to see a mixture of both, A-B missions are great if you're looking to further a traditional campaign style form of play (something casual players with finite time may want) but for the real immersive emergent play you need easter eggs like these.

Man this game will be awesome!
