Federation Rank past Rear Admiral

What's the point in getting federation rank past Rear Admiral? You get access to the Corvette at Rear Admiral so what's the point going further?
Besides just cus one wants them all.

At the moment there isn't any point, other than the kudos of doing so.

Who knows what the future* may hold though!



* (there wasn't any point being Rear Admiral until the corvette came out)

Many people enjoy being a Rear Admiral. I don't judge: whatever makes them happy between 2 consenting adults and all that.
