Being pledged to a PP faction does not help you with gaining navy rank. You simply have to do as many missions for Fed factions you can get your hands on to advance that.

The corrupt community that is/was President Hudson and Felicia Winters, in particular Felicia Winter's power's lore agenda is Liberal and yet they have been the most blood thristy and oppressive faction in the game to date, openly attacking the Alliance and Empire in equal measure. At each stage the attacks were misinformed and folly and backfired in spectacular fashion, as evident by "The Fall of Winters". At least Hudson stayed on agenda, all be it corrupt, Winter's FLC just took the lore ideals and threw them out of the window, they departed from the lore to take over the faction to bend it to a fascist agenda and the compliant Hudson "Hoard" duely followed along.

Lol, I picked him too because I wanted to pick a Federation and he was higher rank than the women, but then found out the traits for him are Combat/Combat/Combat - but all my missions so far have just been delivering weapons cargo so haven't actually had to fight yet (which is good because I'm awful in my new Mark IV Viper!)

In fact, the reason I picked him was not only because of this "I started here" but because I am mission running to grind Federation rank and what I call my "home system" is a control system of Zach's and I noticed a few stations I was deliverying data to were ones that I could take the expansion data or whatever it's called, so it got me some free credits for doing nothing extra than a couple of window clicks.

Well we may not be the good guys in every sense but we're more moral than the imperials, and joining the alliance doesn't really give you anything cool so I'd say the feds are the best choice. It's better than supporting slavery and not having a democracy.

I was with Hudson for months and in all that time the only people who attacked me were fellow Hudson commanders. Since joining the Imperials there has been nothing of the sort.

Go figure.

Same here, in fact I was fortyfying one of the systems on the reddit list last night and as I undocked, a human player of Zach was there, messaged me asking what cargo I had, I said I had 0 of 20 as just delivered the materials for fortyfying and he dropped 20 x some equipment (Marine something maybe) which I sold at 7,000 per ton, so this guy basically just have me 140k CR for nothing - well as a thanks for fortyfying, so quite the opposite of this Green on Green lie told above.

Nah, actually I need to talk some real politics: I am a republican and I align with the values the party originated with when Abraham Lincoln was President... and it was started to end slavery and counter the mistakes of the Democratic Party.

The democratic Party started its corrupt agenda when it forced native Americans on the trail of tears, voted for slavery for decades, seceded from the Union, and created the KKK.
