Ships Feeback On this Corvette build for farming CZs and Checkpoints?

This is what I've come up with so far. My main goal is to stay out for as long as possible. Not quite sure what to do with the L hardpoint, so I stuck a frag in there for when the NPCs start trying to joust. I also planned to have the H Beams in one fire group and the Rails in the other and alternate depending on the target's distance.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Scrap the rails man, put at least on turreted MC with High ammo and corrosive, switch the class 4 Beams for MC OC with autoloader, drop the 7 A cell bank who will cook your ship and instead put a 7B ( more HP - one more charge ) and drop the heatsink and add instead a wanted scanner, so you can double your credits.
Instead of hull and module reinf. packs get some Guardian shield boosters, module and hull protection are useless in a Vette since you will never lose shields lol - and if YOU DO - then you did something badly wrong 🤣 🤣....

Your build is way to overloaded, imho, the Vette is so OP you can do all you want with her with half you have massed there...
Anyway, try to get rid of beams, MCs are the top killing tools.
Your build will work, for sure, but again, is an overkill.

This is my all round build - you can fight at will 2 wings of Elite Pirates at once, included 2-3 Annies, with no big sweat AND still making a decent freighter - if need arrive.

Appreciate the feedback! Like I said the main goal was being able to stay out without having to resupply for as long as possible, thus the overkill.

Looks like a strong build, unfortunately I don't have cytoscramblers yet.

One question though, why take an AFMU when I could put another guardian shield booster, if im not supposed to be losing shields if I'm doing it right?

Is just a credits wise insurance - I do live in Colonia ( both my accounts carriers are there) and in Colonia, like in Bermuda Triangle, the auto de-throtle do not work, and from time to time I "crash" in a star after making a jump - so I take minor heat dam. With the AFMU I can save 1 millions in repairs ( both the Vette but especially the Cutter have very expensive repairs). And second reason, is I DO something really stupid, and I screw up. Usually, 99 % of the time you won't need that.

Now, about the time you can stay in a ResH - after one mining run - just to fill 320 tones of ore - I have enough mats to make some 150 MG reloads, and that means some 10-15 h non-stop fighting.
The synth for MC are the cheapest in terms of mat consumption. And a class IV MC with OC and auto-loader will do a lot more constant damage than any plasma or rail could do, in a short amount of time. Is a reason why the MCs are considered the king of weapons.

I think one should consider 2 basic aspects: best weapons to collapse shields : with no doubts, burst lasers, and on top, are the cytos, the only weapon in the game who can do at class I almost the same dam a class IV will do, but at a fraction of weight, a fraction of power required and a fraction of heat.

Next step - the best weapons to pop hulls fast - MCs and corrosive MCs.
All the rest are gimmicks and fun, but in terms of efficiency nothing can beat this basic mix. Rails are fun to watch, but the RoF is miserable. The same goes for plasma. Both have troubles keeping with fast, agile and relatively well shielded small ships. On the other hand, a gimballed MC will deal considerable amounts of damage against all kind of ships - small, medium or big - have the cheapest ammo and is no coincidence the best "killers" / minute in the game , the FdL and Mamba, excel the most in MC builds.

Thank you for the detailed response!
You are welcome, have fun with the mighty Vette - probably THE best harvester of materials from dead Pirates 🤣 🤣

PS - something I forgot to mention, and unfortunately this basic fact is not very circulated here in Forum: if you do own a carrier, and you enjoy mixing / experimenting with all kind of builds / weapons, and mining, Colonia is THE best place to do that, since all eng. are just 1 jump away , and ALL mining systems are Pristine.
I only return to Bubble once a month ( for PP or some decent CG) but for that I use a jumping Annie with almost 80 yl jump range - is a 2h - 3h cheap and fast trip.

I built a Jumpaconda to make the trip out there, but come to find out I need a higher combat rank. I figure nows the time to work on that as well as saving up for a carrier. I always did wonder about the appeal of living out in Colonia, and it never occured to me that you could find just about everything you needed out there.

In practice, Colonia is much better than the bubble, the simple fact the engineers are so close of each other ( 1 jump) , and are ONLY 4 of them (!!!) for all modules / weapons - translate, most of the time, in 5 minutes you can modd all you need.
Add the Pristine factor in the equation, so the mining is the richest possible, add the fact most main factions are in Boom state, so you get plenty of those juicy 50 millions mission ( 6-10 / day) - so even a new player can easily get the 5 billions for a carrier in just a week, without much sweat.
You have massacre and assassination mission for stacking in systems with plenty Res H, so you can mine and kill pirates in the same time - something who, at least for me, provide more fun than just hunting pirates only - a build for hard mining AND bounty hunting is far more challenging.

I use a Vette for this, ( see the build below) and I cannot remember last time when a Pirate wing(s) forced me to run - usually you can pop 6-9 pirates at will with this build, and is very rare when there are more than 3 wings over you at once. In the same time, with 320 cargo, is a good miner. Probably THE MOST dangerous 🤣 🤣 miner ...
This build allows you something crucial: to stay with 4 pips in sys AND to keep firing at will non-stop - so you enjoy, in practice, a 2x stronger shield.
That means you cannot be hurt easily, and can tank at will.

here the build:

This is my build.

You can switch the PAs for more gimballed Bursts if you want, I just like the big chunk of damage when I hit with them, burst lasers give you more practical DPS than Beams at most sizes because you can actually keep shooing them for more than three seconds in a row.
