Never been hit by this during any PvP encounter, probably because I've not engaged much in PvP but have been trying to use a small railgun with feedback cascade to help bring down that pesky Imperial captain in their shield tank cutter during the recent CG's. Still not been able to get their shields down before they exit the battle as I don't run a high DPS build, so I thought I would try using the railgun as a utility weapon alongside the small multicannon I have fitted with corrosive shell.
Actually how much does the feedback cascade effect SCB recharge rates? From what I could tell it doesn't seem to do much; - I was hoping the recharging phase would be halted completely, but this does not seem to be the case. What is the effectiveness of this engineered railgun? Is SCB recharging only partially reduced, as it would seem to me, or is it supposed to stop recharging completely? I do realise that some NPC ships seem to have almost unlimited SCB's and that it might be a different situation if I were facing another player.
Would like to know for reference as well, so that I am more prepared and know more what to expect from future PvP encounters.
Edit: Is it proportional to the damage the railgun does?
Thanks - Si
