These are my preliminary findings from the Thargoids sensor feedback. (I took the feedback from Obsidian Ant's video, thanks man!)
I first thought I would try Hexadecimals, which proved to be a stupid idea because the code was all wrong. However the chart I was going to use also had Octal code on it, and low and behold, there were my there number codes.
I translated 3 things of sensor feedback, the codes do actually change before I thought I would post to the forums. I'm not entirely certain if Octal is the right thing to use, so I am looking for a second opinion. However I am fairly certain that these feedback loops are indeed an attempt at communication, a lot of the numbers (or letters if you think about it) show up more frequently than others, just like with english.
Here are my first three messages.
As you can see, several of these "words" seem to pair up, I found this very interesting and highlighted a couple. The "null" was the actual code for null is Octal (000).
