I've just followed this story and really enjoyed the mystery and following the clues. The setup in the Maia Herald, then the listening post data, crashed ship and ultimately the alien structure, was really nicely done. It wasn't too flashy and I was able to "solve" the mystery using only in-game clues. The audio work was a really nice touch too.
Although really enjoyable, there were a couple of things that could have been improved:
1) I was prompted to read the Maia Herald by a forum posting somewhere. I wouldn't have found it otherwise, which would have been a shame. The content was too well hidden among other Galnet reports that are rarely of interest (and therefore, rarely read!). Another reason to give Galnet a good QOL update, please!
2) Finding the alien structure at the end was done either by eyeballing the moon, or by looking the co-ordinates up online (I did the latter once I realised eyeballing was the only way and I just don't have enough game time to do that). I have a detailed surface scanner, so it would have been a more engaging experience if it could have detected something unusual.
That said, more of these types of events please!
