Feedback on Sandbox mode

Just some thoughts on Sandbox. I know that some folks really enjoy the management aspects of the game, and I do as well to a certain extent. But what I really like about zoo simulations games is the ability to design and build habitats and exhibits. So I was really looking forward to Sandbox and was expecting a free form type of game play. But I still feel too restricted. Being able to disable animal aging, birth and death are not what I was looking for. I was hoping to disable animal terrain and habitat requirements. If I am building a zoo in a temperate northern European type zone, I don't want to fill my exhibits for gorillas and pygmy hippos with tropical palms. That's just not realistic. I would like to build a nice rocky habitat for my snow leopards without snow. And I might want to make a smaller exhibit for Nile Monitors and not worry about their habitat size requirements.

I do want my animals to age, and give birth and even die. I don't mind having to put in keeper huts and power and water treatment facilities. But I would like the ability to build more realistic exhibits and not be restricted by habitat requirements. Or worry about barriers degrading and other restrictions that have a negative impact on game play. That's what Sanbox means to me. The ability to get into the game and play without restrictions.

I love the game. I love the animals. I love the piece-by-piece build. And I love you Frontier for giving us this game. Hoping you can free up Sandbox for more unrestricted game play.

And, oh yeah, I also think we should be able to have more than one keeper gate per exhibit.

I was hoping to be able to edit the starting money and/or leaves in the sandbox. It may be not to late, but I wanted to use it to learn economics. But playing a game with unlimited money and leaves is so unsatisfying.
