Overall I think it's very well done and much needed.
- I was surprised that there was no explanation of using pips to control the capacitors as this is an essential part of flying the ship
- the vertical and lateral thrusters are enabled but are not mentioned - either these should be mentioned (i.e. "this is explained further in the Basic Flight tutorial") or disabled
- I think there should be an explanation of cockpit modes as it can be seen from the number of questions on the forum that this is a confusing area for new/returning players
- once it registered the reverse throttle objective as completed even though I had not touched my reverse thrust binding at any time
- the player should be able to access the pilot's handbook (after all, it is mentioned a couple of times during the tutorial), even if it's only at the end
- I'd like to see a second tutorial that goes through all the major keybinds with the player, explaining each function and setting the binds as they go, as again this is a major source of frustration for new players
