Feedback on Twitch stream

wait wait wait...

...yesterday at some point they answered to a FuNDAMENTal question.
But When i waked up this morning i totally forgotten that point.

But now i remember it well, so i need a confirm from all of you.
It seems a detail.. but in facts this is the most important thing of everything i heard in the stream show.

the question was: how much progress we actually saw in game ?

the answer was: only a little percentual

I am going to re-watch the stream recorded because i am not sure they answered in that way.

A fraction of a percent of content, is what I think he was getting at.

but the question came from facebook ? i can't find it here in the forum.
i ask this also because i am not sure that it was exactly what i wrote.

bytheway.... why i am telling that is the most important thing in the whole stream ?
because after that they talked a bit about ships ..about the fact we saw only playing the sidewinder and the cobra..etc...

all the whole discussion brought me to think that in the next alpha stage (or in the starting of the beta premium time) we will finally see a lot (2-4 more) of new playable ships to test... even the bigger ones*. (the most wanted and waited by me).

*=the anaconda ?

Thanks for the stream last night guys - no tickling which I thought was a tad disappointing:rolleyes:

Very excited to hear about the new damage model coming up, and I think questions were answered well considering the multi-tasking going on.

Keep up the great work FD - more streams would be cool!:cool:

I thought for a first stream, it was good, but here's what I didn't like ...

"And now a question from the forum / Facebook / Twitter ... " yeah it's great you're taking questions from those sources, but you ignored the chat.

"And I'm out of questions" No, we had lots of questions, but again, you ignored the chat. You ignored the very people watching your stream.

It was too short. While 80 minutes might have seemed to be forever for you, it went by too quickly.

You did some of the single player missions ... sorry but Kerrash (before I joined him on the stream) did that months ago.

That's what disappointed me the most as well. Over 300 people were on twitch last night and they seemed to me to be more interested in what people on the forum\facebook\twitter wanted to know and only answered I think 3 questions from the twitch audience. :(

I also agree that it was far too short. I also think that it would have been nice if they at least dropped some hints about new features or ships that we can maybe expect in alpha 4. I know they mentioned the Orca that will be in the game but I think they could have went into more detail about features.

Overall if last night is a sign of things to come then I think i'll just stick to watching Kerrash and you on Twitch because its by far the most interesting and enjoyable stream I think.

OK, I concede that as Beta players are just discovering the single player missions, revisiting them again was a good idea.

I have said this in the official post on this forum but the stream was appropriately setup. It was the first stream and made sense to cover the first part of the Alpha release due to the Premium Beta backers just getting that part of the Alpha to play with.

While the Stream questions could have been answered they didn't exactly ignore the chat as they acknowledged those watching (me for example)... And they posted about the stream days before so that they could gather questions and be slightly prepared to answer/ignore them.

The format was relaxed, friendly and fun, the people on the chat were not obnoxious spammers and we got to see and hear from the devs.

I do hope this is not a one off and that FD takes this approach to build on Alpha and Beta excitement... Give us all a taste of the game from their side and dangle a few carrots for us to get those saliva glands flowing...

I missed this Live (sorry!) but have caught up now. General impression is good :)

Looking forward to seeing the stream improve and evolve with the game.

And maybe you guys will have a chance at becoming Twitch Partners to give viewers access to the quality settings - it might help those on slower and/or distant connections.
