Feeding Cost Differences

One habitat has 2 Cheetahs and costs $750 to feed.
The other has 4 (2 adults, 2 children) but costs $350 to feed.

Why is that?

Size of the animals seems to matter as well, not just species. In an Indian Elephant habitat where I had 1 adult male, 2 adult females, and 2 juveniles, the adult male cost the same to feed as the other 4 all combined. The adult male was also huge compared to all the others.
