Haven't played much lately, so thought I'd log on and try and make a bit of money to get back into things. Probably shouldn't have done this after a film and a couple of beers.

Think I may have been fuel scooping, not sure, but I feel asleep and when I awoke it was to the insurance screen. 1.5m rebuy and 92t of rares lost. Oh and a bunch of bounties and stuff.

Not sure that session has had the desired effect of getting me back into things...

Used to happen all the time to me in the 'other' space game....

You probably got interdicted while scooping, and got blasted for not giving up your cargo.

Yep, that's how I know it's bed time. When I loose focus and drift off while in SC on my way some place. It's time to park.

I'm a noob at rares. The most i get on my route is around 50t. How do you get 92?

Include more stops or wait at least 10mins (IIRC) for stock to replenish

What I do is Make two laps od a sector before I head out to the pay out sector. I'm doing Fujin to Lave. It usually gives me around 50 tons. A third lap is usually pointless because there seems to be a limit on how many rares each station will sell. I guess I could add a third leg to my route.

The cluster between witchhaul and altair gets me that many, when the RNG doesn't hate me.

Not necessarily, it only takes a nudge in the wrong direction and your temperature starts climbing nastily. The game death / insurance screen states who did the deed, pretty sure it doesn't list "you flew too close to a star" explicitly!

SC tends to put me to asleep even when I'm not drunk and tired. All that rolling thunder.....guess I should play some music.
