fence tool for PC2 like Planet Zoo

Fully agree. I use the barriers/fences on Zoo all the time, more for using as fences than I do exhibit barriers.

Please add this to PC2, I just want to make easy fences, not every player wants to hand craft and place custom fences using shapes and poles.

Being able to drag a line - similar to placing paths (straight/curved) with a specific fence type would be so helpful. Also, the ability to use scenery pieces in a similar way. I've used scenery pieces to make my own "custom" fence, and while you can use the new tools to create connection points to essentially snap pieces together, there has to be a much simpler way.

I remember assuming with excitement this would carry through to Planet Coaster 2, along with all the other improvements made during Planet Zoo's life, continuing the growth of the Planet series, such as modular gift shops, cinematic camera, diorama mode... then opening the game and absolutely zero features were carried over and it was back to bare bones. 😅

also if we had all all the returning themes from the first game and all the planet zoo themes or something similar, can you imagine the creativity? still amazed how detailed their scenery pieces are in zoo

Planet Zoo is an absolutely gorgeous game from the atmosphere to the scenery to the weather to the UI. I'm tremendously disappointed that PC2 didn't follow on with the same quality, but they can make it up if they act quickly and continue fixing it up to the same standard and charm.

I haven't played Zoo yet, you mean it's better than PC2? But zoos don't interest me as much as amusement parks but Zoo has some nice train rides and such. Zoo with all the expansions is around $200! I hope the PC2 team continues working on it into the summer and fall to make it PC1 and Zoo quality.

Planet Zoo is a million miles ahead of Planet Coaster 2 in every way and it's 6 years older. The only things PC2 has foundationally improved with is the pathing system, scenery brush and object scaling. Almost everything else feels lower quality and rushed, down to the weather (visuals and the management effects it has), biomes, sound design, the UI is significantly more fluid, user friendly and beautiful. It also has a bunch of features that have been left out of PC2 like vista points, modular gift shops, snow, midway games, staff training, staff facilities have full interiors (not just a black box), diorama mode, cinematic camera editor, I could go on and on... The game just oozes charm and love and attention to detail from every corner. I've adored it since day 1. They're like night and day different, but the gap is starting to close slowly with each PC2 update. Hopefully Frontier can bring PC2 to the same standard as it was clearly extremely rushed to release, everybody could tell and everybody was unhappy.

Absolutely agree! In fact, I couldn't even agree more! Spending hours copying, moving and turning tiny pieces of handmade fence to border a path, all while Planet Zoo has this ability down pat, is diabolical!
