I haven't played Zoo yet, you mean it's better than PC2? But zoos don't interest me as much as amusement parks but Zoo has some nice train rides and such. Zoo with all the expansions is around $200! I hope the PC2 team continues working on it into the summer and fall to make it PC1 and Zoo quality.
Planet Zoo is a million miles ahead of Planet Coaster 2 in every way and it's 6 years older. The only things PC2 has foundationally improved with is the pathing system, scenery brush and object scaling. Almost everything else feels lower quality and rushed, down to the weather (visuals and the management effects it has), biomes, sound design, the UI is significantly more fluid, user friendly and beautiful. It also has a bunch of features that have been left out of PC2 like vista points, modular gift shops, snow, midway games, staff training, staff facilities have full interiors (not just a black box), diorama mode, cinematic camera editor, I could go on and on... The game just oozes charm and love and attention to detail from every corner. I've adored it since day 1. They're like night and day different, but the gap is starting to close slowly with each PC2 update. Hopefully Frontier can bring PC2 to the same standard as it was clearly extremely rushed to release, everybody could tell and everybody was unhappy.
