General Gameplay Fences and Boundaries.

Your Feature Request / Idea
It would be nice if the fences would clip onto the boundaries of the map so we can use the boundaries as part of the exhibit. Every time I try to do it myself there is always a small gap that the dinosaurs can escape from.

YES!

It's so annoying when you try to build the fence as close to the map edge as possible but then sometimes it doesn't want to build because it's obstructed. And as you said the dinosaurs sometimes escape through the tiny gaps if they break the fence.

This would definitely be a nice quality of life improvement for the game.

I always try to do this (use the map limits as part of the enclosure), and found it only works sometimes.

Did it on Isla Matanceros with a small enclosure for 20 Struthiomimus and 5 Edmontosaurus, no problem.

Tried again, a bigger one on Isla Muerta for a carnivores enclosure, and it went well at first, my 3 Ceratosauruses had a nice viewing to the sea...but when I added raptors they inmediately escaped by going briefly through outside the buildable area.

So I thought "it only works with big dinos" before I was proven wrong in Isla Sorna, when one of my Giganotosauruses decided to go trekking in the mountain before going back to her paddock.

I love the idea. It's something I try to accomplish often as well.

Some things I have found that help my efforts are building multiple fences that connect as close as possible to the border, and/or having at least a short stretch of fence along that area of border. The dinos seem more likely to go around the fence if it's just one point they have to evade. This also works much better in long stretches of thin areas connecting different building zones on an island. Another thing I've done with notable success is to enclose the customer area and let the dinos run free outside it. Most of them won't roam from one building area to another, especially with those thin passages, so you can still keep meatasaurs and veggiesaurs relatively separate.

In a related matter, I do wish more buildings had connection points, or more connection points in some cases for fences, and that the building wouldn't obstruct a fence going to its own connection point (that last one is terribly frustrating).

I was thinking about something related to this yesterday; Would it be cool if the fences adapted to the buildable zone edges when you build them on it? I was building an enclosure, next to a irregular boundarie and by keeping it away from the points where the buildable zone shape didn't let me built the fences, at the end, there was some little space that was lost.
