I just went from the Vulture, to the FDL this weekend. And I find the ship just as awesome, as it sounds.
4 c2 pulses. And a huge cannon. All gimballed. A graded and 3 a shield boosters. (hate cells) and some creative power prioritizing. That's one hell , of a fun ship to fly.
It might take more skill, to turn around in res sites etc, with pip management, (and only missing one ring of shield. When hugging a rock with 250/s) but it's a lot more rewarding in the end.
