Hi all,
I proposed this in another thread and I'm sure I'm not the only one to think of it, but ... just in case.
It would be great to have the ability to pay smaller ships to come and collect cargo in case you accidentally went to an outpost without a big enough pad. I guess you could contact the station, and instead of request docking, you could 'request ferry'. You'd then drop cargo for the ferry/ferries and wait for them to deliver it.
The added bonus would be that this could also be an added mission type for smaller craft i.e. you'd have to fly out near to the bigger ship, and scoop up as much cargo as you could hold, then return to the station to sell them (or deliver to the client). It would be another way to teach new players about scooping (and about the dangers of flying to outposts with a small ship).
It'd be absolutely awesome if this mechanism could work between commanders too, but that might be more work?
