Ferry Transfer Missions

Just had to transfer my Fer-de-Lance to the new CG in the California Sector and thought that we could also have Ferry missions from factions that ask us to transfer a ship from a system to another or even from station to station in the same system.
Something similar as we have in the real world where people drive from state to state or countries to transfer cars, trucks, etc.
This would be interesting also to allow players to tinker a bit with different ships before buying.

There could be some rules like heavy penalties if the ship is destroyed, no bounties granted when using the ship, predefined routes with the FSD disabled to jump to systems that do not belong to the route and so on.

How would you get back to one of your parked ships, though? This is only going to work if you can remote command your ship to precede to the destination and transfer. Otherwise, unless there's another mission going to a base where you have a ship parked up... it's a long walk home.

Of course that could (in MP) bring up the possibility of hailing a taxi...

Well, part of the mission could be that you are given a stripped out long range hauler to get you back to your ship.

How would you get back to one of your parked ships, though?

Simplest way = ship transfer, perhaps it could even be "free" as part of the mission.
