Few of my colonized systems don't have my faction. Is it over?

So, when I first started colonizing, I didn't know that if my squadron is allied with a faction, it will appear in a system. Two out of five systems (Synuefe CT-F d12-35 and Synuefe GX-J c25-19) don't have my faction (Alianza Nova).

I tried grinding INF so the faction could enter the 'Expansion' state, but even though it did, it simply doesn't want to expand anywhere.
It's an ancient bug that the devs don't want (or can't) fix.

I tried asking the tech support to add the faction to these two systems, but they said they can't do that. (Why though? These are my systems anyway...)

So the question is... is there any hope they'll fix it? Or what can I do to help my faction expand into these systems? Or is it really over?

It’s possible it was expanding from a different system already, which (to my knowledge) prevents the state from taking effect anywhere else. So you may have to try again anyway.

A station’s news board found in the services, at the bottom, should tell you where an expansion is occurring from.

Nope, the faction is basically under my control, it has only 4 systems (1 is a homesystem, other ones are mine).
It has only one system with 90% INF and other systems have around 60% or so. (except for the home one)

Like I said before, the devs know about it, but for somereason they don't want to fix it.
Me: Сan you explain why my minor faction (Alianza Nova) isn't expanding from Synuefe OU-T b50-1, despite being in the "Expansion" state for several days already?

Support Agent Ikaros: ...the BGS issue related to Alianza Nova, this is related to a known bug and it is currently under active investigation. We aim to get this addressed as soon as possible.

Hope they'll fix it before Panther Clipper, but I don't have high hopes about it.

I'm not reading that as an ancient bug unless you have additional context
Or not wanting to fix it. Quite the opposite if under active investigation
Manually adding factions may sound easy to you but if they say not then it isn't (weekly ticks might overwrite any manual changes for example)

Guess you'll have to wait and see but as the Panther Clipper is planned for next week you're probably correct about your last statement
