Hi all!
Another strange bug...in the hand coded mission "Rescue Stranded Hitchhiker".
I've tryed this mission both with FFED3D and with normal FFE with the same result...in game I've an Imperial Courier with 20MW beam and 6 shields gen. I'm Competent, Sergeant for the Federal and clean status for everyone (got only a record for federal, permit violation, but I've payd fine and I'm clean)
That's the story
Nearly in march 3052 I got both the "Transport the 5 furies" and the "Rescue Stranded Hitchhiker" missions on the same bulletin board.
The Furies mission was completed normally.
Then, after 2/3 months, I started the trip to Mairgre and landed to Camp Campell 4 days before the pick up day of Jan Thikka (11 august 3052). I've bought an extra passenger cabin.
Well, on the midnight of 12 august I saw in my ship that my passenger cabin was occupied (Cabins 1: 1)...so I hyperspaced to Wafaphi (next federal system) and landed on Braldey Orbiter on 23 august.
And now the STRANGE part...first message from Local Federal HQ (in white color)
"Well done\ Commander. You have rendered a valuable service. You wil not go unrewarded"
And second message (in green color)
"We are disappointed with you. You have been demoted to Corporal"
Well, that's insane!!!!
No payment, DEMOTED to Corporal...wait, NOT! I've been demoted to NONE, my Federal Rank is 0....ZERO!
What do u suggest me to do? There a time limit? Where I've wrong? Is there a bug in this mission and how to solve it?
