Elite / Frontier FFED3D - launching issue

Hi I have just downloaded FFED3D from:

During launching I have an issue: intro is not shown smoothly but with jumpings while after I chose starting point the game is crashed. Anybody faced something similar? How to fix it or what should be the game config settings?

It sounds a little like the settings are a little high for your system and it's essentially freaking out by going slowly.

Depending on which version you downloaded, there should be a "ffewin.cfg" file in the folder you've got FF£D3D at. You'll be able to adjust the resolution and various other settings there.

If you've got and are running the AJ version of it, you'll be wanting to adjust the "ffed3daj.cfg" file instead
