What more does the galaxy need? I've done and seen it all, from a bounty hunting keelback to exploring in an FDL. There's only one thing that can even catch my attention anymore... Those wild spinning alien ships out there. What else would be better to watch while in an autodock queue or in witchspace than a fidget spinner whirring the speed of light, reminding you that although we aren't alone out here in this pinwheel of a galaxy, at least this threat has one thing in common with us.

Hello, SirCandyPockets.

Well, that won't look dated in about five minutes... but +1 anyway. I'd like there to be one or two more gadgets on show than just bobbleheads. If we're going to have such things, let's have them, then, good and proper. The Drinking Bird and miniature orreries* have been mentioned in other threads - they also seem like good ideas, devtime notwithstanding.

If we're going all out with instantly-dated fads, though... I'm sure the Truckers would get a kick out of watching their avatars knitting incredibly long, multicoloured scarves, or weaving corn dollies and scoubidous, on those painfully long trips to Hutton. Counted cross-stitch might be an interesting challenge for the devs.


*(Presumably, this is why we suddenly have the Solar System bobbleheads.)
