Your Feature Request / Idea
Hey everyone.
This may of already been mentioned but unsure.
But I personally think that the Fighting animation needs to be worked on, a fair bit aswell.
Most of the carnivores when it comes to fighting all have the same animations.
3 Minutes or more, going around in a circle,
2 or 3 snapping bites.
final kill (different animation depending on size).
There actually isn't any fight animation what so ever.
here are a few examples of what I would like to see happen and what I hope to see put into the game.
Raptors vs t-rex = Raptor jumping on the rex - rex biting and throwing raptors - rex shaking raptors in her mouth.
T-Rex vs Indominus + other large carnivores = Biting and holding neck - thrashing each other around - slamming each other to floor - Tug of war action
Raptors vs armoured herbivores = raptors jumping on side/back - herbi throwing them off and hitting them with club/ thagomizer knocking the attacker over and escaping.
herbivore vs Herbivore = Head clashing - charging - knocking each other over.
Large carnivores vs armoured herbivores = Herbivore hits the carnivore more times, but eventually looses unless it knocks the large carnivore over (works on stats)
These are just few examples.
I just feel the fighting styles need serious work, more variety and animations.
10 Reasons as to why this should be done:
1. To give the game an authentic feel.
2. Creates suspense as we wonder who will win.
3. Builds the excitement for planned battles
4. Add's a little reality to the game.
5. Been able to recreate Iconic moments - Imagine Indominus rex vs t-rex near your Entertainment center, people nearby and your dino's full on fight. Perfect instead of circuling each other. or Maybe the raptors do the same animations as when they versed the rex in JP1 at the end. Some of the photos we could take.
6. Would make us want to experiment more with different species.
7. it would give a true presentation to the dino's stats E:G Rex 370 vs raptor 480 = The raptor will attack more and seem like it winning but rex takes one full bite and loose. Like in Jurassic park 1, just gives that suspense as mentioned above.
8. We would have to upgrade specific stats more accurate to win battles. E:G T-Rex full attack nothing else to be able to win basic Indominus Rex (Just example).
9. Visible damage = If raptors keep attacking your Rex then Rex will get many scars and bites on torso, But if Rex vs Indorex then she will have large claw and bite wounds on neck instead.
10. Summary = It will just be awesome and less boring = we already have a good Idea who will win a fight, there is no drama. Me as a huge fan want tones of drama in dino battles.
