I had a really good fight with a novice, shieldless Anaconda last night. Normally it would have just been routine, predictable and easy, but everything was more challenging, more involved. I don't really know which of the changes made it more fun, I guess it was a combination. The NPC seemed to be more aggressive and you can't just count on a shield cell easily getting you out of any mistake you make any more. I had to think more about what I was doing. All in all what would have been a bit of a run of the mill encounter turned into something far more challenging and interesting.
I also noticed NPC's were accidentally hitting each other and getting into amusing fights over 400 credit bounties. Some people may complain about that, but I thought it was fun.
