The primary reason, I made my account here, was so that maybe I could give a handful of suggestions for the development team to mull over.
The biggest problem I have right now, and I hope that I'm not the only one experiencing this, if attempting to filter out objects from the outfitting service at stations
what I mean is, that players typicaly have tp scroll through a long list to find what they're looking for, a simple example is for internal compartments, say you have a class 3 compartment which by default supports 0-2 sized modules, but what if we wanted to just find a class three force field generator, or fuel scoop, or anything of that particular size.
how it could be done, is based on all the modules in the game and their various teirs, perhaps add a filter for each teir up to the maximum size. the same could be applied for weapons.
I personally feel this would be much more effective almost immediately than scrolling though a long list to find what you're looking for, it could be mocked from how we can filter the galaxy map based on allegiance, or trade data etc.
This is something that could've been weighed in on the development side of things before release. I hope that it wouldn't cost too much to implement and is something that the devs would consider.
The benifets of this particular type of filtering could be so beneficial for all players, I feel it would enhance game play on a very high scale. And for future project could possibly support filtering type modulation and example would be, in one update, the filer would support catagories, in another, cost, so on and so forth.
But this should be something that all players should be able to use to their own desires.
